The Avedis Foundation hosted its annual “Celebrate Teachers” event for area educators on Monday, August 8.
As part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to recognize, inspire and motivate teachers through a countywide education initiative, Avedis presents the one-day professional development event every August at no cost to public school teachers, support staff and administrators within the Avedis service area. This year’s event welcomed more than 1,800 educators from Pottawatomie County and neighboring school districts of Seminole, Prague, Meeker, Chandler and Little Axe. (Continue Reading)
