Sudhir Gupta, MD, has been a member of the Avedis Foundation board since the Foundation’s inception in 2012.

Dr. Gupta is a practicing cardiologist and Chief of Staff of the SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital – Shawnee.

After graduating from a top medical school in New Delhi India, Dr. Gupta immigrated to the US in 1979. He finished his advanced medical training, including a fellowship in cardiology, in Chicago before moving to Shawnee in 1986, where he served as Chief of Staff and as a board member for both the former Mission Hill Memorial Hospital and Unity Health Center.

Dr. Gupta and his wife Shikha have raised three children in Shawnee, and are proud to call it their home.
